Our Hillsborough State Park camping trip

This was our first camping trip with our new camper and we had a ball. The park had several hiking trails that we went on. As you can see in the photo above, Sammy fell fast asleep as soon as I put him in the little carrier. He loved it also. On one of our hikes, we sat in the middle of the river and fed Sammy. The boys just love getting to explore outside and getting dirty from head to toe.

What food in the drawer?

Let me paint a picture, we were having steak for dinner, and Dawson doesn't like steak. I gave him only a couple of pieces, and right as we were finishing up, Dawson still had not eaten his steak. When I turned around and came back to the table, all in a matter of 1 minute, all of his steak was gone. I asked him what he did with it, and he said he ate it. Dave said for me to check the drawer in front of him that we keep placemats. This is what we found. A drawer full of rotten, moldy, and disgusting food. We were in shock and couldn't help but to laugh.

Here are the kids with Dad and with Nana at her Christmas party. She just celebrated her 87th b-day. We had a great time.

The making of the gingerbread house

Here are the boys working on our ginger-bread house. You know Dad had to get it just right! Mr. Perfection. I wish that would carry on through all of the duties at home! They had a great time making it, and of course eating all of the extras.

The String's

Here are a few photos during this holiday season. We have been very busy it seems. Every weekend, and week day we are going. Zach has football practice on Tuesdays and games on Saturday mornings. Dave has been playing softball for the past year or so, and plays on Thursdays. Add in all of the Christmas festivities and it makes for a crazy month. I hope all of you enjoy this blog and I hope to add info and pictures on a regular basis. Merry Christmas everyone!

Look at my pearly whites! We went to the dentist today, and still no cavities!

Look at my mohawk! How cool am I?

He is trying not to crack a smile. What a sweet baby!

Look at those sweet cheeks!
